Dr. Roshan Mahato is currently an Assistant Professor of Faculty of Public Health, Khon Kaen University, Thailand. He has served as Assistant Professor in Department of Public health Kathmandu University School of Medical Sciences, Dhulikhel, Nepal (2020-2023). He has also worked as the Senior Program Manager at the Department of Community Programs (2015-2020). For past 15 years he has been, deeply involved in developing, planning and implementing rural health programs of Dhulikhel Hospital Kathmandu University Hospital (DH). He is passionate about developing innovative models of rural health care delivery, health system researches and spatial analyst.

Dr. Mahato has developed a strong academic background and wide international networks. He has been closely working with scholars on the several research projects and leads several programs involving research and academic collaboration of foreign students. He has an impressive educational background, including Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) as well as Master of Public Health (MPH) from Khon Kaen University Khon Kaen, Thailand.
