Ms. Sushila Baral currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Health Sciences at Pokhara University. She holds registration as a Public Health Professional and previously hold the position of 'Public Health Officer' at the Provincial Health Training Centre in Gandaki Province. Ms. Baral possesses expertise in Monitoring and Evaluation, having worked as a Documentation and Monitoring Officer in the field of Mental Health at the Center for Mental Health Counselling.

Her academic background includes a postgraduate degree in Public Health from the Manmohan Memorial Institute of Health Sciences. Before pursuing her postgraduate studies, she gained valuable experience in various non-governmental organizations, where she worked as an Information Management Officer and Nutrition Officer.

Ms. Baral actively engages in both quantitative and qualitative research and demonstrates proficiency in data analysis software. Notably, she contributed as a member of the Epidemiological Data Audit team for the COVID-19 Pandemic in Gandaki Province, representing the National Health Research Council (NHRC). Additionally, she has a notable publication record, with numerous original and review articles published in peer-reviewed journals.
