Dr. Alok Kafle
Research AssociateDr. Alok Kafle earned his PhD in Tropical Medicine from the Faculty of Science, Khon Kaen University, Thailand, following his Master’s at Mahidol University, Thailand. His research focuses on tropical diseases, particularly neglected tropical diseases (NTDs). Dr. Kafle has made significant contributions to research on opisthorchiasis-induced cholangiocarcinoma, engaging in proposal development, fieldwork, and interventions such as the Lawa Model and one-health approaches. His expertise spans quantitative and qualitative research, with involvement in both in silico vaccine design and community-based health interventions, reflecting his versatility across multiple research domains.
